Local Towns
Beverley is situated just 6 miles North of Woodhill Bed and Breakfast. This is a historical and beautiful market town with markets on both Wednesday’s and Saturday’s.
Beverley Minster – Is a medieval gothic building, the burial place of St John of Beverley.
Friary – a 600 year old Dominican friary with Medieval and Tudor wall paintings.
Beverley Racecourse – Set on the Westwood with an uninterrupted view of the 1½ mile course. Throughout the summer Beverley has various race meetings, with the highlight being Ladies Day in August.

Skidby Windmill - Yorkshires last working windmill. The barns surrounding the mill now form The Museum of East Riding Rural Life and various other exhibits. Flour made at the mill is available to purchase and there is a café and picnic area for people to sit in and enjoy the Wold views around them.
Burnby Hall Gardens – This has lakes containing a national collection of water lilies.
