Cottingham Parks has an 18 hole golf course, a high-tech gymnasium with various classes, a 20metre swimming pool, hair and beauty facilities and a restaurant and café bar. Cottingham Parks also boasts a leisure centre.

Beverley Golf Club – Located on Beverley Westwood and 18 hole course set in picturesque parkland.

Hessle Golf Club – An 18 hole course which offers a challenge and enjoyment for all. An attractive parkland course which is moderately flat.

Hull Golf Club – An 18 hole course set within the picturesque villages of West Ella and Kirk Ella based around the stunning 200-year-old Kirk Ella Hall.

Local Towns

Beverley is situated just 6 miles North of Woodhill Bed and Breakfast. This is a historical and beautiful market town with markets on both Wednesday’s and Saturday’s.

Beverley Minster – Is a medieval gothic building, the burial place of St John of Beverley.

Friary – a 600 year old Dominican friary with Medieval and Tudor wall paintings.

Beverley Racecourse – Set on the Westwood with an uninterrupted view of the 1½ mile course. Throughout the summer Beverley has various race meetings, with the highlight being Ladies Day in August.

Cottingham is the biggest village in England situated just 2 miles from Woodhill Bed and Breakfast. Cottingham has a regular market and plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Fishing – There are local fishing ponds at Risby Park Farm, just a 5 minute drive away.

Skidby Windmill - Yorkshires last working windmill. The barns surrounding the mill now form The Museum of East Riding Rural Life and various other exhibits. Flour made at the mill is available to purchase and there is a café and picnic area for people to sit in and enjoy the Wold views around them.

Burnby Hall Gardens – This has lakes containing a national collection of water lilies.

Hornsea Freeport - A leisure park with attractions such as Neptune Kingdom and Butterfly World also host to over 25 high street shops.
